For whatever reason after a few launches it now recognises the internal gps. Only problem now there is no speech/voice. I looked at the support files on page 50 but the link doesnt work for me. please can someone upload. This is really a long & complicated job to get it working. Once i get it working im going to combine all files together in 1 zip file to make it easier for your next Joe Blogs. Why so many files not in one place makes it complicated. I will also try make new step by step instruction for people like me that found it difficult. Perhaps im not smart enough lol

Hi All,
For N95 8gb users, specialy those who disconnect often from satelites, try the following:
(It works for all GPS app: Garmin, Sygic....)
Before start any of your GPS app, go to Tools>connectivity>GPS data,
click options>positioning settings, make sure that only "integrated GPS" &"Network based" are checked (do not check "Bluetooth GPS" & " Assisted GPS")
After that, go back and click on postion, click option>satelite status, wait till have connection to satellite (sure you have to be in open area)
after receiving signals, and without exiting from the GPS data menu, go to your app and start it. I assure to you that it will never disconnect (also it will be better if you open your slide)
Hope that this will many problems (IT RESOLVE MINE, AFTER A LOT OF SEARCHING)
good luck

Did you use keygen to generate the SW.UNL file? If so make sure it does not have the .txt behind it. Use file manager on phone, go into the garmin folder and look at the SW.UNL and GMAPSUPP.UNL file.

Thanks!
Canada is part of the North America map, use map installer to chop it up and only load Canada instead of the whole thing.

Suggest you get anohter version, eg 4.10.20 or 4.10.40, get it unlocked then install the 4.10.60 update.

hey, thanks for the reply, so if install 4.10.60 with 4.10.20 already there, it should work ?
so i have to get it unlocked first
sorry, i left out info in the first post, i was running 4.10.20, trying to use it with city navigator north america NT, 1.11gb version.

It's only until I had posted that, I realised that I hadnt even created the SW.UNL file. So once that was sorted. It worked. Just a damn shame about certain things. I guess I'm a sucker for TomTom. If they could only hurry up with a release that will utilise the intergral gps...

Should never see the expired message with Version 4.10.20. Not sure why you are getting it.

The unlock codes is the same for the same device ID. If the MMC and hardware remains unchanged, there is no need to recalculate the sw.unl codes again.
