Way too old. Let TTHome incrementally update until it says no further updates.

PS what device/model is it?

b22c 01-28-2015 13:30

Model:TomTom One (4N00.012)

It says on TTHome that i have updates available, its free to update? Thanks

Yes, let TTHome update your device which should eventually update you to (probably) 7.903

b22c 01-28-2015 15:46

Yes you are right its 7.903 now :) I cant find the map chart i think the image was deleted... When its online again can you tell me what map should i download? Thanks

justmebrowsing 01-28-2015 17:30

940.5966 or 5993 or 5994 or 5995 depending on where you want & IF there's a meta code for the map you want.

If the meta is not available then you'll need to actually BUY the map yourself but then please remember to create/share the meta with us too

My navcore version 6,560 is not on map chart, what to do now?

Since my gps maps are iberia i see that iberia only have 5993 from that that you say, so i will download maps. Also see meta too

Since its my first gps update i wil start to download maps and then post here my development. Thanks

Not too sure I'm allowed to do this but let's see:-

Compatible Chart v940 Maps

That Iberia map 940.5993 should be ideal for your navcore (and has a meta)

Remember you need to download/run FastActivate to get this all working http://www.metanmedia.net/tomtom-ope...s-updater.html

b22c 01-28-2015 19:29

Yes i was google it and i know that thanks. What i dont know is: iberia 5966 has features and 5993 dont. When i choose a map should i choose the one that have more features right? In this case 5966 has Cspeach and ASR and also TTS/vocalizer and 5993 dont have...

justmebrowsing 01-28-2015 20:03

Actually the 5993 is the "basic" map for you "basic" 7.903 navcore/device. There is no meta for Iberia 5966

Get that up & running properly first then, from the other forum, learn about upgrading your navcore to a later SE/modified version which can/will run these extra bits.

b22c 01-28-2015 20:08

But i will replace the older map files with new ones and then apply fastactivate, cant this work also if i do this now with 5966? Thanks

justmebrowsing 01-28-2015 20:13

No, we don't have a meta for Iberia 5966 so this cannot be "activated"; so save yourself time & just use 5993.

Replace the old map FOLDER with the new map FOLDER then run options 1/2/3/4 of FastActivte

PS Come join us on the other form...you'd be welcome there

b22c 01-28-2015 20:34

Ahh ok, if there is a meta available i could choose the map with more features... I will do what you say...

b22c 01-28-2015 20:47

Just confirm me this please: if a map have all the features and that map is compatibible with my gps, all the features will work on my gps or my gps could not have hardware to work with some features? Thanks

justmebrowsing 01-28-2015 21:06

The features are map and navcore specific so, for example, you can have a map with cspeech/ASR/IQroutes etc but it will only run properly on a compatible navcore/application. Similarly you could have fully functioning/loaded/later navcore but that won't make a basic map any better.

As said many times before: generally speaking, you can only use a map if there's a meta available & you're running a compatible navcore. Of course there are exceptions which are detailed on the other forum but just get up & running first then you can start experimenting/learning the tricks later.

Hi i try 2 methods and both fail because no space in disk. First i try to copy the folder iberia to gps and delete the older one but it says the disk if full and i need extra 65mb. Then i try the automatic installer and patcher and also say error because no space in disk... Any ideia? Thanks

b22c 01-29-2015 12:05

Old iberia folder has 179MB and the new one 5993 has 259MB. With older iberia folder gps disk only have 22MB free. Thanks

b22c 01-29-2015 12:45

Sorry for ignorance, i just see that i have a 256MB sd card, i put a 8GB sd card now to test...

b22c 01-29-2015 13:09

I format 8GB Card in fat32 and copy the content of older card to new card and insert on GPS but now i cant access card it says
F:its not accessible
Error E/S of device

Its possible that gps dont support 8GB card (Too big for gps)? Thanks
