Need some help on GPS Garmin nuvi

A custmer brings me this unit to decode i serch on google and no help the device ask pin code any ideia to clean this ?

thread from 25th Dec 2006 14:27 to 21st Oct 2007 18:38 and today is 05.12.2007 and no solution yet :DLOL

i have the same prob here :(

GARMIN NUVI 660 EURO ask for PIN CODE :confused: reseted but same result .

can anyone help us to solve this prob :)

i find only full reset setting not only with reset button but with others step , but nothing for PIN CODE :(

Of course if you have the manual and are setting the pin you will be aware of Garmin's "Garmin Lock" technology, which should see the device rendered useless if stolen. Basically, you set a 4-digit PIN that needs to be entered every time you turn the device on. You must also take the unit to a "secret location" that you register with the Garmin Lock. After 3 incorrect PIN entries, the device locks completely and can only be unlocked by taking it back to the "secret location".

i have here some nuvi 300 and i disassembled it so see what is inside and is a samsung flash, a garmin cpu and other i think is flash also. Samsung i can read but i need someone that can get me a a dump with no pin to compare. anyone want to make some research with me?

It might help the group or other if you guys with this problem fess up and tell us what your story is so we know the facts.
Like did you find this Gramin and it has this problem or you just just picked it up and it was locked.
Or did you try using the lock feature and now you are locked out.
Or did it just one day start asking for the pin and you never played with the lock feature in the menus.

We can not tell if there is some kind if problem here or if you guys are just looking for a hack to unlock a stolen locked unit.
