North America 2009 route calc data
 

I downloaded Garmin Mobile XT 2009 North America NT Complete - Repack By restricted its 1.23gb.

I installed it to mapsource but when I try to export it to my Garmin XT, the route calculation data box was greyed. I installed it anyway & gave it a try around the block, it worked pretty well and was VERY accurate as far as distance is concerned.

1. I read someone mention the route data is good at 2am, so what? it helps you get an alternate route quicker??? IDK, whats it for??? My map data without route data gave me an alternate route avise when I went off course, so I guess it can't be that.

2. as we speak I'm downloading other dvd ISO's of this map product, JIK since if its missing route data maybe its missing other things,, the other torrents for this 2009 map are 2.16 & 3.78 GB. Besides installers... what else besides the route data can be stripped as far as functionality itself??? to go from 1.2 gb download to 2.16 & 3.78 are great differences, comments anyone?
