Hey there,

I have tomtom one xl dont know the version.... looking at the files within the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland folder, it seems like the map is from 2009 and it doesnt show some roads..

I have used tomtom home to update the tomtom and that tomtom home said that the device needs a new updated map which costs £44..

using this forum i found you have the same maps for free but when i replace the new 2010 map on top of the old map... the tomtom freezes when i switch it on...

if you want i can send you the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland file that the tomtom one xl currently have.

Ive followed the instructions to the above post on "how to copy maps for tomtom" "http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=244&t=71940"
and when doing so and "RunMeforDCT" I get the error message "no meta.txt found" even though it is their and correct.
Is there a Easy use tools that operates V9? Or should this one do it and Im just doing something wrong?

keep trying, it works.. make sure the text file has the right name "meta" and check the files inside "insert meta from maps here" ( .meta and .pna)
