TomTom One 3rd Edition updates possible at all? (995 maps, mid 2017)

Hi!

I´ve tried to update my old Tomtom One 3rd edition (V6), navcore 8.01 (no SD card option), and it seems it's not possible. Can you guys confirm me that there is nothing we can do to install the new maps on this device?

I tried installing the following maps (with Automatic Installer & Patcher from your forum's page):

- Iberia 995 8511
- Iberia 995 8549

In both cases when I start the GPS I get a message saying that I can't use the map installed on my device.

From what Im reading from other sites, it seems like Tomtom finished the support to older equipments.

Is there anyway to install the new maps even though?

Thanks!

You need to patch your navcore as well. Use FastActivate for that

Iberia 995 8511 does NOT have a meta code so cannot be used
Iberia 995 8549 DOES have a meta code so get latest version of F/A (update F/A option #10) then patch map (option #2) then navcore (option #3)

I'm using a TomTom ONE v3 (512MB), and have found that the best navcore to run on it is 9.17. You can run newer navcores but I have found the performance is less than satisfactory. 9.17 seems to run the best and supports all the newest maps!
