A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join TMT First, a fast-growing technology company based in Newcastle under Lyme, in a full time, permanent, Senior Apple Repair Technician Role. Successful candidates will be experienced in repairing and supervising the repair of Apple iPhones, iPads. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your ability where you will have the opportunity to grow your knowledge and develop new skills. You will work in our state-of-the-art repair lab using industry leading hardware and software systems. At TMT we believe in rewarding high performance and high quality. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities - Repairs to include the replacement of mechanical components and perform Level 3 repairs on Apple devices - Use designated repair tools and follow strict guidelines on processes - Achieve strict performance targets while maintaining high quality standards - Accurately record all work completed within internal systems using manual processes and scanning equipment - Take responsibility and ownership for all devices allocated, understanding customer and business needs - Work with skill and care to reduce parts failure - Feedback to your Team Leader any issues or delays resulting in bottlenecks which may affect targets - Follow stock handling processes at all times and maintaining stock integrity Key Skills - Ability to diagnose faults from components to logic board - Ability to carry out the replacement / rework of all component parts - Troubleshooting – hardware / software - Understanding and reading schematics & board maps - Understand circuits - Understanding of different logic board components (i.e. capacitors, diodes, inductors etc) - Soldering ability - Re-balling - IC replacement - How to rework logic boards - Basic water damage repair - Short detection & removal - Pay attention to detail. - Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and customers. - Enjoy working in a deadline driven environment. - Have basic Microsoft Office Skills. - For your application to be considered for the Apple Device Repair Technician role, you need to demonstrate within your C.V. that you have recent experience in the Repair of Apple products.
