it is not necessary for us to think about such exchange, because there will be no difference in working with new to old hardware. Me for example have one of the very first clips, i am working almost every day with it, and never had problems, it's working perfectly. I would suggest you "never change a running system" The new hardware improvements doesnt mean that the device will now unlock faster, or support more phones than the old one. If you really want a new device, you can sell your old and buy a new one, i dont think you will make any price loss. But in my personal opinion it is not necessary at all. best Regards Sasha

Member: 2868 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 514 | Hi, The new hardware version of Genie does not contain major changes. It only has improved power supply and power management. It also has some improvements on the main PCB. Since the design is not changed, we do not offer exchange. Best regards Danny |

If you have real problems with powering phones you can put mosfet switch in the adapter - power it up from external power source and use the phone power line from Genie as control for the mosfet - it will be the same thing. BR, Alex
