Genie Universal Dead on Arrival - GSM-Forum

I just received my black edition Genie, inserted battery, plugged power..... Nothing.. No display.. Left for a bit on charge snd still nothing.
Is there something special i need to do to get it working?

Also i tried to put recovery files on sd card and tun Remote Tools, install drivers after holding 1 while inserting usb cable, software detects clip but gives error 1.

This day genie is a dead project.No one here for ur answer and also for our unused credits that what will we do by that credits.

Hi,

This is interesting. There has been no sales of Genie devices at least for an
year. How did you manage to buy one ?

It seems as a HW problem to me. Is there a backlight on the LCD ?
If not could be the LCD connector loose, during transport maybe.
