1. Jailbreak your phone 2. Make sure your Carrier simcard is valid and catch network(better double check in any other phone) 3. Set your YESSIM as boost mode 4. Able DATA ROAMING in you Iphone 5. Put your Carrier sim and yessim into your Iphone 3G 6. Go to Plane mode then Normal mode on your Iphone 3G 7. In case you still have NO SERVICE kindly go to courier mode, wait for around 20s, an error message will be displayed and you will have network | |

Member: 799206 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.67372 Thanks Meter: 276 | @Joel Thx for your email : Good Morning !! After a good night's sleep and internet searching for settings I have successfully got the Yessim to Work on the Japanese Softbank network using the 3G iPhone !!!! :-) Settings: Universal Mode Boost Mode on Patch Count set at 30 Do not use MCC-MNC 44020 which is also the code for Japan Vodafone / Softbank because it does not work. I can confirm that I can now receive phone calls, make phone calls. I need to test text messaging in a good reception area. 3G internet connectivity confirmed-- able to browse :-) Could you advise on any better settings in case there is a problem with SMS texting. I will test it further this weekend to see if there is loss of complete settings in low reception areas etc....fingers crossed. I hope this helps!! By the way, how would you like to write up my review? On the Yessim forum ??? Please let me know accordingly. All the best Joel |
