Hi,

Same error here on N70, E61 and 6630. I think the cyclone box is faulty.

Cheers

With the old SL1 mobiles be sure you use a good USB port or at least a powered hub as they are really greedy about power consumation..
A tool like TMA adapter helps a lot about this issue.
A better reading od the SP area in the old mobiles will be in the next version due soon as update.

n70, n85.. .using TMA local mode not an issue

I unlocked the N70 very fast as you know it is done with JAF. I just got this cyclone, the idea was to start using it to unlock all the phones that I get from now on.

N85 did it on MT, but now I am rethinking my decision on buying this box.

I used same cable, same pc, but couldnt unlock any phone with cyclone.

make a small vid on how You use the box, so I can use it as a reference.

OK.. I can tell you how I work using the TMA..
I always connect the usb cable of the TMA to a sel powered hub so no problem about powering the mobile..
If i use standard cables normally i need to keep all of and 2 on.. on some mobiles (Normally flashing mobiles without certs) i need to use higher walues (all off and 4 on) for the mobile being seen on the flashing bus.
In unlocking SL1 mobiles i use always the TX2 adapter, I read the full PM (From the tab Common/Info) and without anything Thicked apart "Skip SP info" I click on unlock.
may be you get at the end of the unlock an error about reading SP data but the mobile is always unlocked (This issue is going to be solved in the shortly due update).
For the SL2 mobiles instead I don't need to Thick "skip sp info", I just read full PM as above and I click on "create RPL from the phone".
So with everything NOT THICKED i click on unlock.
If the mobile is one where it calculate the codes I wait about 10 seconds when asked to calculate the codes and I check if it is in local mode.. if it is not i press power on on the mobile, wait a feww seconds and click on yes.
Is insteas is a BB5 plus the unlocking process will go by itself up to the end.
As you can see nothing special... and everything smootly as it should be.

I am now fully aware on how to use the box.
I am still trying to unlock, when I get to a point that I am not comfortable I just switch to any other box and finish the job there.

Did some SL2 after I posted this, lot of patience and following your tips.

It is as easy as everyone says it is..

Is easy to use.. just a bit of prratice and everything became easy..
Hope Gpg start to sell the new Cyclone adaptor asap.. with it all the operations go smootly as the mobile get repowered when needed (this actually doesn't happen with the TMA).

Would be helpfull for us if you could show some logs or tell us at least if the mobile goes in local mode, switches on as under battery or blinks when it receive power from the box.
If you can give us this information may be we can give you any suggestion about how to move.
Feel always free to ask anything
