Makeing RPL from PM on SL3 posible?????? - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I have a 5310xm v57.57 that now has 1234... damaged imei after trying to downgrade. I had first backuped only PM and not the RPL.
My question is simple: Can I use Cyclone Box function (Make RPL from PM) to restore IMEI to this phone????????

You can make from the PM only a Simlock RPL .. this won't help you in rebuilding the imei.
Did you erase the phone?

Dear colleagues, i'm not sure that 5310 v57.57 will accept SL fields - anyway i was test 2 months ago to repair one with damaged security via original RPL ... IMEI is OK, but simlock remain damaged

P.S.
A BIG tnx to moulinisky for all his work and knowledge sharing around new Nokia phones unlock / downgrade / repair ...

sincerily I don't remember if I had erased it it happend long before Cyclone realised this solution (rpl from pm) I had destroyed this phone long time ago when sl3 was at the begining and I didn't know of the apperence of this security type...I think I had erased it...at that time I had tryed evrey thing to return the phone to the initial state to the client...offul moments when this happens...

only downgrade or u tried to unlock .. .?!

if onlywrong downgrade..
just reflash phone with correct sl3 software.

If you had a Nokia RPL of that period (an RPL from the Salo server, not from the tucson server) was enaugh erase the phone, flash it with a normal BB5+ firmware version of that mobile, RPL, SX4, FULL PM no 120 no 308 and it was working, BB5+ and easy to unlock

Now without back-ups the only thing you can do is full erase it, including certs, and send to nokia.. it has 2 years warranty
