do not overclock gpu to 900....keep it on 875mhz and then try

regarding SL3 unlock, the only solution for unlock is bruteforce? I'm asking this because I have a friend who says that he found something regarding SL3 unlock without bruteforce.

I7 2600 / GIGABYTE P67A-UD3R-B3 / DDR 2G x 2 / Sapphire HD5970 / 750W Power

System Windows XP SP3

The time passed 7 hours, job passed 2% only, very very slowly, it should be faster, right?

May be it works faster with system Windows 7 or ?????

Ye should be faster about 20% per day mean about 5-6% every 7h. I think you got drivers problem and only 1 core on GPU working. Yes solution is install windwos 7 64bit becouse only for windows 7 ati/amd drivers work corect for 2 cores on hd5970 in Windows xp will never work.

make a fresh installation of windows 7 64 bit and use the catalyst 10.2 or 11.1 and you will see better results
