Why my box is not working on BB5 phones??? PLEASE HELP!! - GSM-Forum

when i try to read phone it goes in local mode but then i receive this message on the box(Failed to read info -> Phone not detected) i tried many different phones not just one and all the same problem but on dct4 it works fine, So the problem is only on bb5 phones. Please i really need HELP URGENTLY, i bought the box for the bb5 phone and till now i nevver got it workk

use the ADAPtor provided with the package brother

for bb5 must use yellow adapter
for dct4 not needed adapter

good cable needed

press check flashing bus and you fone shud be detected and in local mode... if cant find fone use tma

Yes i am using the yellow cable, I tried everything but still no luck

May be the yellow adapter faulty.. try to read the infos without.. in case you can read the infos whitout ask your reseller the replacement of the TX2 adapter

Now i just noticed that even dct4 is not working but fault is intermitted cause sometimes is working and sometimes not on both bb5 and dct 4. on bb5 now it works fine but only once now it is not working again

If you are good about soldering, open the box and check the soldering of the Service port and the usb port

Yes but i am afraid if that is not the problem than the reseller does not accept the box back cause i will open the warranty seal!!

Ask your reseller about warranty, explain your problem, tell him you open the box to see if solder problem, and if is not, you send the box for exchange (not touch anything, only open to see)

i think is a defect in board,

i still cant use my cyclone

Your box comes with 6 month warranty.... so contact your reseller for exchange ( you dont loose your money )
