Success to realive but stuck on IMEI

I try to use s-boot clip to repair dead I9300 bought from ebay (no sign of life at all).
It still 90% success, the other 10% is the IMEI problem that shown generic IMEI.
This is what I've done:
1. Insert S Boot clip as described in many thread.
2. Flash with original ROM I900XXALF2 (using another stock rom for i9300 is always stuck on samsung logo).

Found anoher problem, based band 'unknown', IMEI null and efs folder is empty. I try to clone from good phone (N7000) to insert efs file, succeed using EFS-cwm-flasher (please find the flasher from google). Based band problem resolved.
3. Still remain IMEI problem, now I'm trying to resolve the problem without box...hopefully succeed and sharing to others.

Thanks.

Going to post the final tutorial on how to use this properly step by step.

1. Plug sd card and cable into phone
2. Phone will come on in download mode and if screen is normal and not upside down then is fixed.
3. If screen comes on upside down then take cable out of phone without turning off and plug in USB cable to computer and flash fully with Odin ( I use 9300xella Korean factory files found at xda developer website just use search buttons.it works really well for z3x IMEI repair which you need to do later.)
4.straight after phone will not be able to come on and has no efs folder.
5. Search gsmhosting for i9300 efs repair file (it will be a .tar file extension)
6. Out phone into download mode again and flash this file in PDA
7. Phone will then restart into normal mode
8. IMEI will be 004499 but will have baseband so just repair using z3x as normal.
9. Done! Fully working phone!

If your phone will not accept the efs-i9300.tar phone then it's hardware problem.

I have fixed every handset that has come back on so far and all without needing to jtag!

Then flash as normal and all will be okay. You didn't need the boot files copied over.
