ANSWER : Why Latest Release Can Not Sort Phones on Generation Basis?

Hi All!

As it was told by Manole that latest release has capability to sort list of phones based on selected Generation eg. if you select BB5, list will show you only BB5 phones and so on.

As I have investigated into this matter, there is no problem with Latest Update, instead problem is in PhoneIdentity.ini.

For example, if a phone has not Generation= parameter, it will be shown in list regardless of selected Generation.

To fix it, we need to put Generation= parameter in every product section. Below is the example:

Description=Nokia 5700b XPRESS MUSIC
V11_01_china.fpsx=English,Chinese S,Chinese Trad
VLT03_01_americas.fpsx=English,MOVIE STAR CHILE
VAP13_01_china.fpsx=English,Chinese Trad ,Chinese Simpl

It will be listed regardless of Generation bcoz it has not Generation Info.

It will be listed only when DCT4 is selected as Generation.

I will upload edited PhoneIdentity.ini if i have enough time to do it.

It might contain errors, if someone corrects it, please upload here for other users.

Now selecting DCT4 Generation will list only DCT4 phones. But there is a bug while selecting BB5 Generation. List shows DCT4 phones too along with BB5.

same prob dct4 &bb5 together

Both are shown if BB5 is selected.

But if you select DCT4, only DCT4 phones will be listed.
