BB5 Downgrade fix having bug. - GSM-Forum

Guys i just want to report that do,t use this function of mx box bb5 downgrade fix it will make your phone imei corupt.i have damage my two phone one N-81 AND 6700C i flash them and it wasn,t comming on so i use bb5 downgrade fix and it make my both phones imei plane 12345654321? mr manole plz fix this bug i have use this feature so many time without any problem.but this time it have f.uk up my two phones and i don,t have backup for these phones so i have to buy RPL now to fix these two phones.

im waitng for an accurate reply for mx box team.

I face the same problem with N73. When use BB5 downgrade fix, the imei became 12345.
Try to restore imei, and failed.
Then i try to look at C:\mobileEx\3.5\data\backup\RPL, and got the NPC data RPL that autobackup by MXKey.
So i try to Write RPL with that backup, and the phone become normal again.

My opinion:
- Yes, there's a bug in BB5 downgrade Fix.
- Don't too haste to buy RPL, try to check the C:\mobileEx\3.5\data\backup\ folder, because now MXKey always do autobackup RPL.

sometime like thats(tested on N70),but downt worry we can use RESTORE imei on simlock TAB

everything will be ok

correct me if i'm wrong

Bro, we are talking BB5 downgrade fix on MXKey v3.5 rev1.4 here.
No problem or such a bug on previous version (like v3.5 rev1.3 on your screenshoot)
