br, all i've little experiance about BB5, which is-

hi, br, everyday we found many kind of faulty BB5 phone, which is-
phone blinking,
show logo then off,
when press pw switch vibrator no pw,
contact service,
camera problem,
show nokia logo then white screen and off,
music player,
phone restricted,
invalid sim,
phone pw on then restart and again on,
without sim is ok but with sim phone pw on then off,
no power, and more...


every software related problem must be gone. 100% u must sucsess. but how ?

need 3 or 4 box and MX-KEY of course,
need very good cable, i use NK FBUS UNIVERSAL CABLE and also ufs cable (more then 2 set) , ALL USB CABLE,

every version firmware, PM file(modify and full), ENO file, NCP RPL, DCC file, always backup from good phone PM, RPL, DCC file and save all (better write DVD),

when start work a phone--- write note phone model, phone platform, product code, IMEI no.

clean phone cable conector.

selcet BB5 tab and right model always. so, don't hurry, be slow. if mistake ur phone model, ur phone PM area will be damege. be care.

remeber always, some phone have different postive, netive and BSI line, exmp- N95, N95 8GB, etc. have left positive, midle negative, right BSI,
(when u use universal cable or extra VPP for DC pw supply).

any kind of flash terminet- 99% box or cable problem.

after flash completed ur phone must be local mode otherwise
" PHONE NOT RESPONDING" - do step by step- use higher version firmware, change cable, last use others box.

for flashing with MX-KEY u may, any time face big problem if u use interface UFS/HWK, so, be care.

flash completed but same problem, phone is LOCAL MODE. check SCAN/BusCheck is ok ? try read phone information, self test, check BB5 security storage and certificate validation, read CCC, HWC, NCP data, its all ok ? if yes. it's firmware version conflit, change version and try again. not done, use another box with higher version always. not done ? so, it's need take time and need expart help. ur phone 100% will be ok. ( IF IT IS SOFTWARE PROBLEM). so, post always by logs.

when u going to earse phone first backup ( RPL AND PM) use to all kind of box which is u have already then start earse. otherwise u may fault big problem any time. if not restore with one box.

you must know, SL, SL2 AND SL3 phone model. list have search forum. here or nokia bb5 forum. write your note book.

SECURITY TEST FAILED, ( SL, SL2 AND SL3) 100% solve by MX-KEY, don't cry- read this forum. have many post. (be care, SL3 phone don't earse now, avoid wirte full PM., good practice that use always modify good PM for SL3)

SIMLOCK DATA CORRUPTED (SL AND SL2 ONLY) 100% slove by MX-KEY. read this forum have many post. ( not possible SL3).

PM authorization use SUPER SD AUTH if not done use PM AUTH. if problem its ur net or server problem u must try to be continued.

any BB5 phone restarting, blinking, show logo then off, just done flash. 100% solve.

phone restricted, invalid sim (SL) just do simlock update. by MX-KEY.

3110c phone camera on standby is not software problem. 100% always hardware. if ur memory card full or corrupted or camera damage. first check memory card then wash camera connector or change camera.

REMEMBER ALWAYS MX-KEY IS THE BEST TOOLS FOR NOKIA , I THINK WHOLE OF WORLD NOW. WHY ? EASY, POWER FULL, MOSTLY ERROR FREE. ALL IN ONE. MOST CHEAPEST,

BIG PROBLEM IS NOT OWN INTERFACE. OTHERS INTERFACE WHICH IS PRESENLTY ERROR OR PROBLEM FOR FLASHING WHEN U DONE.


SO, if u try to become smart technician about BB5, everyday study at least 1 hour about BB5 from each forum.


here i look many post who have nothing experiance about related problem, but he just post, of course useless , please stop that. and who post for the help, such kind of problem that post already have more and more , but he don't search this forum. search and read and save.

this forum have much and more expireance user. read their post and save it's all ur notepad and read very deeply. do practice everyday.

and last conclusion , my last opinion that no one box can solve each and every problem. SO , use more box for NOKIA.
