help me get the network lock info of n97 (answered) - GSM-Forum

hi every body here, pls help me i need to unlock an n97 but the customer does not
know the network it is locked to, i have tried to read the info from the phone using
jaf and mx-key but cannot find any thing usefull to me pls kindly help me check
it and see if u can help me get out the network it is locked to cos the log service
i want to use insist i must know the network it is locked to before i can unlock
on their server.suggest any other way i can get the network it is locked to

thanks mr moderator and all that have assisted me in figuring this out.to the newbies that will equally have the same problem the simplified explanation of getting the lock status of any phone is to read the info like i have done and look out for config data in my case was CONFIG_DATA: 3026100076705775 the first 3 numbers are the mcc (mobile country code) while the next 3 numbers are the mnc (mobile network code) the the mcc check this link Mobile Network Code - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia or this link provider.rar - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download to get ur country and network in my case it is locked to canadian network,bell mobility thanks to mr gbluez ones more
