U cant do by usb cable...u can do by fbus cable...or u have to flash and after instaling drivers.then u can resetcode .razi

defferent types of unit for bb5 can u use usb cable put mcu, ppm, cnt then buscheck/service/full factory defualt/ done

read write user code in usb mode is easy.
find and buy this resistor
1------3.3K
2------4.5K
3------5.1K
i use 3.3k
remove phone battery, connect on of this resistor in BSI and GROUND point.
insert battery and power on your phone.
now your phone directly go in local mode.
after local mode you can remove your resistor no problem.

connect usb cable open software and do what u need.

in my case i just make a touch in phone BSI and GROUND line in my resistor and press power button after phone local mode i remove resistor.

save your time and do best.

all resistor r kilo ohms.
in bsi to ground line we can use this resistor
3.3/4.5/5.1/7.5/10/15 kilo ohms.
and check battery charge, it needs fully charged battery.
