mx key hanging on startup!!??? - GSM-Forum

Hi there!
I'got MX key that hangs on nokia service tool startup
I've tried to reinstall it but with the same result!
can anyone provide any solution? I cant' use it man!

uninstall mx-key software and delete every thing from "X:\mobileEx\3.3"
restart computer and install Software again..
your problem will solve,.
try and post result.

ok i agree with you this is only the way to resolve you problem

mostly cos conflig on FTDI driver.

uninstall JAF / FTDI based product.
then install from JAF driver directory.

So how can we stop this happening? This sames to happen to me very time i try to start mx-key. It's a pain to uninstall and reinstall the software every time we need to use it

Might be happened due to bad antivirus and it's false notification.
What antivirus are you using?

and install corectlly drivers.
try to downloud new exe.
maybe old exe infected by virous......

i use doctor web, that's not the problem here tho, many users are posting about this.

Iam also facing same problem(freezing) all most time with new version...freezing on start up..so now iam not using MX-KEY
