my graphic card is very hot when BF is activated!!!


i have hd 5970 to calculate SL3 but when calculating is activated the GPU temp is at 89 °c and the fan speed >=1900 RPM is there any solution to keep the fan speed at 1900 RPM to keep GPU tem at 85°c please thanks

it is going hot cause you are making it to work at max, that´s the idea
it´s normal
you can use MSI Afterburner to make card fan going faster, I´ve programed at 50% and cards never heat more than 71ºc.

PD: my fan is at 2900-3000 rpm

No device marked as usable or Cannot find any compatible GPU device!
Please can anyone tell me where is problem?

no way my graphic card is xfx and any of tose tolls can manage the fan !!!!

ATI HD 5850: ~55 hours
ATI HD 5870: ~43 hours

use good cooling system for get rid of that problem
for eg.. split a.c and use cooler master casing

there are few ways to make it chill ...

1. buying a quality heatsink with fans - i recommend
Accelero XTREME 5970 · VGA · Cooling · Arctic Cooling

2. finding someone who knows to disassemble the card,
clean it from dust, change thermal compound by some better one

3. keep the pc in some colder place ...

use watercooling system bro........if you want your vga card is long life.....

Which is better?

at 900Mhz and 1000mhz memory

or

at 850Mhz and 1000mhz memory

i'm testing, i need to find stable but not loud oc preset because the stock fan is very noisy at 100%...
