first, make it sure, that this is not a BARRED phone.

it is normal for N95 with blank variant.

Hi bro, if you want to check the IMEI try to write it temporarily in a DCT-3 phone like 3310 and test it with a sim card... if your IMEI is banned, you will get the same error
