Nokia 5000 No Network - GSM-Forum

Hi

I tried to unlock this nokia 5000 and unlock done.
The prob is that when turn on the mobile there's no network coverage-no bars
I also checked Self test and all ok. Also full reset and nothing has changed.
Can you help me,please

Can you post a link to this good ppm and mcu along with cnt, please
I don't see in download section 03.50 ver
Can't find the 3.50 ver, what if I'll flash with higher version?

Reflashed with 4.89 and the same.

How can I fix this?

Hi, I got very same problem on 2 phones. After unlock Nokia 5000 with MX no network. Just flash your phone again and unlock with different box (I did it with Genie). I think here is a bug to unlock Nokia 5000 with MX.

With Easy New cable flashed twice and unlocked with 3.5 and 4.89 and no network. I'm waiting for nokia 5000 jaf cable. I think that's the cable.

Presumably it is not yet possible to unlock this phone by IMEI?

I took mine to local unlock wizard and he confirmed impossible to unlock but that was about 6 weeks ago and phone is still there.
