Nokia 6500 Slide phone pass (potato inside) - GSM-Forum

Hi all,

I have an nokia 6500 slide witch have security code activated.

I want to view or restore security code to 12345 but i can't coz the programm dosen't ''see'' the phone.

I'm using latest mxkey program , jaf box as interface, and 2 fbus cables ( 6500s, 7390 ) and so far i didn't managed to resolve it.

Can someone give me an advice ?

Any reply is apreciated.

means no phone model in your mxkey ?
if i am right then install first fonix data for disaire phone then your phone model wil be shown in mxkey .....

Box is working without problems, i have other nokia phones and NO problems.

Only this phone dosen't detect it.

Any other sugestions ?

Check cable check and connection to phone on phones pcb.

After i've opened the cable chase i've seen green cable was desoldered.

Now everything's ok.
