hi, i have a nokia c3 from AT&T, which comes with a version of THE RM, that does not support WIFI, HOWEVER, I UPDATED THE PHONE WITH PHOENIX TO 7.20

AND IT DETECTS WIFI NETWORKS, ETC,....

BUT: MAC ADDRESS IS 00.00.00.00.00.00

NOW, MX KEY SUPPORTS THIS??????

NOT WORKING

PLEASE HOW DO I WRITE MAC ADDRESS TO THIS HANDSET?

@ineedto sir same wlan problem here, nway my c3 locked at&t GoPhone. when you upgrade to new version your c3 accidentaly unlocked??

NOPE, its not unlocking just with a software upgrade,

hi,
what about the other feature. such as bluetooth, fm radio?
since this feature are embedded on 3in1 chip.

theoretically, wlan and bt mac are part of security certificate. you can try to clone it from other c3.

The FM radio and bluetooth work fine. but how to clone the mac or write mac into the chips?

I have a theory ...

After doing a search on fleabay for "nokia c3 unlocked att" there is a seller selling AT&T unlocked C3s that are wifi capable. Perhaps after a phone is unlocked, the MAC addy is unmasked and it is wifi capable as well? I currently have a locked C3 to AT&T, upgraded to the latest v7.25 software, but closed 00.00.00.00.00.00 MAC address. It can detect all the wifi signals in my area, but unable to connect, regardless of encription.

Anyone willing to venture a guess as to the relationship of C3's MAC address with the system being unlocked?

I want believe in your theory, I was thinking about the same thing but I dont have money to pay for unlock the phone yet. If you update nokiac3's firmware using PHOENIX, this software have a wlan utility to test and verify the chip. I tried set the Mac address but all the address that I inserted fail. Somebody knows a address from other nokia c3. I want try.....
