SL3 calculation statistics, can you share it? - GSM-Forum

hi,

do you have some statistic that you are willing to share regarding:

model, hash, provider, salt (0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9)

I do not have enough phones calculated, so my data is incomplete. I am trying to get as much data as I can. There must be some pattern somewhere. But I cannot build a model with the data that I have.

Imei should be important too, but that info is too personal for me to ask for it.

I can only give you SALT that was calulated by me and other person from this forum and I get all this in 1 place

great, even thou I think that the variable HASH is important... but I am grateful for what I get.

ure wasting ure time, original algo is NOT related
with SALT number itself, thats why it gets totally random,
also salt content is not just pure 4 numbers, it's a lot more.

even collecting all phones ever done data cant help,
and getting the original algo is of course impossible in this moment of time.
it's not just some simple x+y/z^w data .... it's a lot, lot more than it.

if you want some improvements in speed,
better do some statitstical analysis of phones done,
so you can figure out what parts of keyspace to attack first.
(or create custom ranges, etc ... make own "smart salt")

I do not have enough data to say anything right now... need a big DB in order to make a proper statistic model. I only have 20 made by myself.. and now I am starting to think on a way to do a "smart" attack.

My problem now is the distributed pc environment and finding a way to "smart attack" on a large scale, I have got codes in 1-2 hrs, but I KNOW it has been pure luck.. but if I get more info, I can do more tests.

Atom (creator of oclHashcat) thinks, if he get ~10K results, could create perfect masks for this, but nobody want's to share, and it's risky to post on forum data like this (because contains imei). I'm started collecting some, and if somebody willing to share - contact me or upload in rar with password somwhere and pm pass. Or maybe talk directly to atom.

Will never get formula! salts are places totally randomly.

I am now almost certain that the algo is pure random. all the analisys that I have done make me believe so.
