Need help about selecting flash files (ANSWERED) - GSM-Forum

is it possible to select flashfiles using market with mcu,ppm and cnt or do have to install the complete data package to be able to select files from market?

it is not compulsary to install conplete data package if u want then u select flash file manualy
like mcu+ppm+cnt onley

ok that i know is not compulsory but choosing flashfiiles like for 6120c,to know which mcu,ppm cnt etc for me is difficult i think by my market it will be easy and safer.

6120C flash file as below...

MCU: rm243_07.20_prd_core.fpsx 44MB

PPM: rm243_07.20_prd_vB21_01_mea_b.fpsx 20MB

CNT: m243_07.20_prd_UDA_Nokia_Noir.fpsx 112KB

let make easy

in this case core file is mcu
and ppm have language extantion like mea
and cnt have market data like nokia_noir

and my trick is just arrange by size
biggest size file is allway's mcu
and small then mcu file is cnt
and small then cnt file is ppm

avoid to load flashes manually.
user should select flash configuration from market drop down menu.

some times navifirm tools etc. will rename their flash config prefix, you should edit it manually so it's able to be read by mxkey.

it's recommended to use full dp installer, and remove unwanted files after.
