About Sharp 802SH Unlocking with Cruiser - GSM-Forum

Well, I tried to unlock this phone connecting with Cruiser, and pressing "Unlock RSA" button, and it doesn't nothing, so I push "Direct Unlock" and phone is detached. Phone displays SIM-MEP when I try a SIMCARD, so isn't unlocked.... So I flash the initialize boot flp and flash EURO 1.40 to the phone, and make direct unlock. After turning on the phone, it shows:

Initialize Boot
<current version: 1.40M (J350) >
SRAM Initialize Completed!!
Flash Format Started!!
Filesystem Format

After some minutes, phone formatting is finished and it says to push a key. I do so, and phone is now working. So I put a simcard, and the phone freezes. I tried other simcards, always the same problem, the phone freezes.

So I flashed the phone again, I've repeated the process. But now, the phone is rebooting itself in the Initialize Boot screen.

Can anybody help me?

No... Now connects with "Analyze configuration" turned on. I think my cable is OK. Anyway, I tested with other cable, and phone is still K.O.

did you press unlock after you flashed your phone?

1.Flash phone at 115200 when finish make direct unlock.
2.write initialize boot when finish make direct unlock.
3.Detach cable and batery , put batery press power on 6 sec. whait phone format when finish whait 3 minutes press smal midle circle

remove and put batery and power on phone

I did the first and second step. Now I'm doing third step:

I'm waiting phone format, it is in the "Initialize Boot" screen, and it reboots itself each 18 seconds aprox. I'm waiting but it does always the same.

Anyway, do you know how to pass "Initialize Boot" screen? If phone turns on correctly, I will be happy, even though it won't be unlocked..

I mate i have same problem , but i forgot you must flash first whit setool repair flash 1.50 but phone only blink after this use same steps whit cruiser for me work

Why did you use initialize boot? What is it for anyway?

I've been downgrading SIM-MEP v802sh and v902sh and I don't use the initialize boot file. Never had problems.

But to remove security code whit cruiser you need to flash initialize boot.
i don´t have setool 3 only a friend have but flahs don´t work in cruiser.

So.. No solution? Lead please, can you read a good "Boot init area" for flashing it and make this phone to work again? I think that it is the only problem it has..

Wow the phone is getting sick.. Now, flashing always fails at 95% !!! Maybe the next time that I flash the phone, it will explode... what do you think?
