Yes, as posted in another thread it would seem that CID49 is only working for W550 phones at the moment. Give Lead a little bit, this version is only Alpha, I'm sure a new version will be released soon that fixes this bug.

BTW: Has anyone trying flashing this EROM to the phone using Cruiser v7.1x? It should work.

IE: Use 8.0 to convert to brown
Then use v7.16 for all other functions.

Converting to brown is the key, it's what required TP before. Once converted to brown, all the real work is done and you can use Cruiser v7.x to unlock/flash etc the phone (and convert back to brown)

Note: I have not tried this, but as already mentioned, it should work as a temporary measure until a new version of v8 is out.

Oh right, my bad.
I thought I had seen it was people trying to convert it back from brown to red that it didn't work.

This section appears to be an internal routine. The Flash is part of an auto boot by Cruiser - Maybe RED to BROWN.

Sorry about the repeated post but the real error is at the top - the rest is just a compound of the first.

Flash manufacturer: ST Microelectronics

I'm probably wrong but is this chip as flashable as Intel...

Error flashing block at address: 0x215F0000

...does Intel chip these phones...

This isn't a solution Post

The solution works with current W550/W600 phones and older hardware revisions of K600/K608.
I am working on new K600/K608 and W900 support.
Just give me some time because I need to slow down a little bit.

Lead
I got here also k600i for flashing. Your support had a flash file for
Main and for Raw fs, I notice when I connect using v.8 , Main firmware is only highlighted, Raw fs is not, meaning no option for Raw fs flashing. Maybe try to edit your version 8 with this option so I can flash k600i perfectly

got no reason for Lead to correct errors on the latest version, though some of us experiencing these kind of troubles resulted to big headache, but as he said let's give him ample time of correcting this

@ Lead : your still leading the race....keep it up!!!

@ bhart : i also noticed that forcing me to use other flashing device and hoping lead could also include the corrections

Why not Unlock RSA so all options are active...

Yea, while Lead has been working flat out for the past how many weeks, it's time for him to take a rest. So then others can come along, all rested from doing nothing, take his work and modify it.

From reading Zulea's forum, it doesn't seem that v6.2 has fixed anything anyway.

Zulea did not have to invent anything.
He just takes almost everything from other tools.
I've personally allowed him to copy anything from Cruiser...
