K700i - CID29 - Problems

Hi,

I have a K700i that came in for a s/w upgrade.

It was CID29, one problem, the only flashes for CID29 where old flashes and I couldnt find any newer ones, I didnt want to flash it as I was worried it may kill it with the CID missmatches etc.

Well the other technition here has flashed it with the latest flash and its now CID36 (only in flash) OTP CID is still 29.

The phone will not power up now, I have restored the certificate to CID29 and it was still dead - I then flashed the phone to the old version for CID29 - phone is still dead, I had a battery problem too so im just reflashing it with new fully charged battery.

Could you help me please lead - this is so frustrating, I want to know if this can be repaired and also if it is possible to upgrade the unit to a newer verison that's available - but my only problem is that the flashes available are CID36 - and the phone is OTP CID29.

br,
Danny.

br,

No problems with flashing CID29 with CID36.
I always flash K700 with newest files, even if phone is CID29.

Try to flash GDFS and after that full flash phone, costomize and unlock.

Tell me how it turns out.
