Member: 7653 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 823 | lead please read here suggestion ---------------------- i just had to do one v600 red cid49 unlock. now i did not need to do test point, very nice and impresive! but i find i must flash main to get phone working after rsa as it fúcks up the first 128kb? so why not add option on the "unlock rsa", where it reads these first 128kbs and stores them so you can then restore, instead of full flashing. for the v600, there is no flash files available. i must convery to k600 now. i dunno if the customer will be happy with this, i have not taken his phone down to him yet... just a suggestion. keep up the work, ![]() |

Member: 1841 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 469 | It is impossible to read firmware (w/o TP) from a red CID49 phone until it is RSA-unlocked. For a V600, you may consider making a backup of memory starting at 44020000, length 00020000 (via TP) and reusing it for more phones without TP then. |

i think this is what USB-Smart does, but it restores the back up automatically? cos for me, that "two second" unlock job (with usb-smart) made a 45 minute job with cruiser... time is money ![]() | |

Member: 148185 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | @Dave.W Usbsmart can only restore its known CXC versions else it just gets an error and phone must be reflashed with main and fs wich also takes about 30min or something on a V600(tried yesterday). then unlockjobs so youre 45mins is the same :P if you have restore files cruiser makes it in 2 min aswell i guess. @Lead I guess that it means if we backup from that adress you said its pretty uniqe to that kind of firmware and branding? |
