w810i cid49 will not power on - GSM-Forum

Hello,
I have been given a w810i cid49 which will not power on at all. It can be flashed ok but then shows no sign of life at all. The owner said it flickered and then gave out a few times and then finally died. I would be grateful for any advice on how to successfully revive it or has it reached the end of its life?

does the light on top blink red when trying to power it on? im assuming lcd also does not flash white. Could be hardware issue, try opening phone to check for liquid damage

if software prob, you have mentioned it flashes ok. try this:

Unlock Rsa
Flash Fs
Customize Fs
Shutdown Fs
Write Gdfs
Unlock It
Flash Main Arm

sometimes phone ok after flashing and customize fs. Good luck buddy, give it a go

mr. e2cc this not the right order of repairing cd49 phones,you are just confusing the other one need help,do not joke

Many thanks for all the responses.No power lights show at all when the handset is being flashed. Would this suggest this a hardware problem?
