Cruiser SCreader&Dongle&Boot problems STEPbySTEP?!? - GSM-Forum

Ok, I've used cruiser on many pc,
now from version 4.20 I saw there
more problems sometimes to run Cruiser.

1 Sometimes s/n ????????? (sc dongle not working)
2 Sometimes it takes 1 minutes to open the program
3 Sometimes you have to restart before use it

Can someone tell me a STEPbySTEP clean install of CRUISER,
SC READER SERVICE, DONGLE etc... but erasing and installing
very well, because it's really boring expecially:

IT's working perfectly, turn off pc, turn on and s/n ???????? problem,
why? I didn't move the dongle, I didn't stop any service, I didn't do anything.
I did a lot of test, but no way to find a reason why sometimes
any pc with cruiser have to have his BAD MOMENT !!

Ok I solved something:

I delete and copy back from original cd the four SC dll files involved.
Now when installing CRUISER the installer uninstall Sc service, and reinstall it
without problem and set it to automatic.

But 90% of times I start Cruiser always stuck in "phase cronus" for 30 seconds,
and after when program run always the same s/n: ????-????

what can I do?

I'm using the SC/PC diagnostic, and I can see the pc is
viewing the dongle immediately when I plug it, under
device system of windows control pannel too, immeditely
when I plug the dongle SC reader and SC smart card are viewed!

what's the problem so? what can I do to make this CRUISER
not to say BOX NOT CONNECTED ?????? ?????

please help...

?: Under setting there is autorization have I to select something different?

Do you use SETool Dongle on same system?

yes... can it be that? because now it's working well...
it's just sometimes, and I notice this thing on all PCs..
sometimes CRUISER start is not working... but perhaps
it's now so much because as you ask me I'm using it with setool....

Remove the SEtool dongle and everything is fine! This thing is good for nothing at the moment

Or, go to settings tab in cruiser, select authentication and there you will see something like axalto e-gate1 and axalto e-gate2, choose the one for cruiser and everything should be fine!

easy easy.... SETOOL works great, expecially for unlocking SETOOL
is the best Z1010 unlock with ONLY ONE CLICK and 4 second,
so try how many pieces we do in the time you do one with cruiser !

a part this... I already tried it is not that, you can select what you
want but when Cruiser doesn't want to read, doeasn't want to READ !

You don't have to unlock RSA when unlocking phones with Cruiser.

It's possible that sometimes Cruiser gets confused and tries to read SC data from another card. In that case, open your Cruiser, click on Settings.

Go to the "Authentication" tab. Pull down the menu there. Instead of having "default" ticked, select one of the other SC options (if you have more than 1 SC card plugged in, there's be at least 2 SC's to pick from)

Once you've manually set it, close Cruiser and reopen it. If it doesn't work still, pick the other SC and try again.

This should fix the problem.

yes I don't do it... ?!? about time are you talking?

All he's saying is that to remove SIM Locks on new RSA ARM phones, you do not need to click "Unlock RSA" first of all (like you must to do some other operations), you can just click "Direct Unlock" I don't think it's quite 4 seconds, but it's pretty quick.
