reflashing a K610i with cruiser
 

Is it possible to reflash a K610i with Cruiser ID 06 without having to purchase any logs as I have just got myself a T-Mobile K610i but I want to get rid of the T-Mobile firmware.

Because i am an old 06 cruiser user I couldn't unlock so I got my local phone shop to unlock it for me.

You can flash it useing 06 card BUT you need 1 log to customise the filesystem...

And it will work with a CID: 51 phone? because I have previously done it with a K800i CID:49

So you want to say that card id-06 doesn't support any phone with CID 51?

of course cid51 flashing is supported by -06 card, as well as the other cids.

I just want to clarify my original question.

There is cid51 firmware files on the support and my question was whether with a 06 card/box I could reflash the K610i cid51 with the unbranded cid51 files and if I could do it without purchasing logs using an 06 cruiser.

Previously I have reflashed a K800i cid49 phone using the same 06 card but I had to use logs using Cruiser 10.39.

@ gavincol. yes you need logs.

@Nishaon, i had it in my head he was cross flashing, which you can do with a 07 card.

How the phone was unlocked, by patch? you can't reflash the phone, will be locked afterwards ...

Exactly, it will be locked again if unlocked by patch. So if you have card id-7, you can do all with just 1 log.
