Constant light in display - GSM-Forum

Anyone that knows if it is possible to have the light in display constant turned on ?
Is there any patch for this?

Well, seeing as you didn't mention what sort of phone, I have no real idea. I'm not even sure what you're talking about. I would suspect even with those details the answer will be no.

I guess it's a K/D750/W800 with incar kit and the wish to view the display showing the current track being played.

I suppose it's a feature for latter firmwares (or phones) that would be good for those that use their phones as players. And as others have pointed out, battery life won't be a problem as it's getting it's power from the car kit...

...Ford are selling their cars with iPod connections (sad!)...

...but I think that a tiny well lit display that a car driver is trying to view is a bad idea and SE will probably stay well clear of.
