You may use cruiser 13.20, make sure Free cid 52 box is ticked first in settings.
First Attach mobile.
Go to the Security RSA tab and press the Unlock RSA button.
The procedure takes cca 5 minutes to finish and you will be asked to disconnect the phone and reinsert its battery two times at the end of the operation.

After card registration-I cannot find Direct Unlock button in cruiser 13.20

I charged the battery and flashed it again with different file. Success, the phone is alive again. Thanks BR.

I'm also experiencing some wierd problems with Fast Java Unlocker, too. It was working fine for the past couple of months until today I tried to unlock a W580. It constanly freezes at "Starting up FS..." then right away it'll show some kind of "Runtime Error" and Fast Unlocker will shut down and asking me if I want to report error to Microsoft. At first I thought it was my new installed anti virus program that's causing it. So I completely uninstalled my anti virus but the problem still exists. So I finally decided to uninstall and reinstall Java Unlocker but its now giving me this error:

At the end I unlocked it with Cruiser 13.2 since it's CID 49. But will very much like to find out why all this is happening.

I get stuck at "starting up FS" as well.
just wait like 10 seconds and unplug the phone, the executor file still goes into the phone.
the program crashes, dont worry about it.

I posted the answer to all your problems 2 days ago at the start of this thread, it's just a driver problem.

The best driver to use is 2.1.0 this one works on all Sony Ericssons to unlock or flash with Java or fast Java.

I have had exactly the same problems in the past and 2.1.0 has always cured the fault.
