I flashed my mate t630 with the decustomiseation file he went away happy but today he is back and the phone makes a beep sound when you switch it on but nothing else, no display, and not working,

What path should I take?

Which flashes have been tested?

Any sensible help please.

Reflash it with AVR and ARM and then decustomise GDFS.

It doesn't sound like you've done anything wrong though, what did he do to make the phoen stop working? Did it just stop working or did he forget to mention to you that he dropped it or something?

I haven't had any problems with decustomising, but then I haven't actually had a chance to decustomise any T630's, but I'm sure many others here have and this is the first reported problem with it.

I did it all again but still the same, like you I have decustomised lots of T610 this was my first T630 so I was clutching at straws BUT like you I feel he has done something, as it was working when I did it and when he left.

So its time to tell him to send it back to ericsson as its only 3 weeks old.

that's weird. my t630 is retail version. i try to load up decustomization GDFS and change language on my T630. it works fine without any problem. even tried to do master reset. i don't think it is problem of GDFS. make sure your customer isn't bring his phone to someone who try to mess around the phone with DIV or something

You will probly find the customer has done something to the phone, and is trying to blame you for it.

Get it all the time, they bring it in for flashing/unlocking and then go home, play with their datacables and then kill their phones with wrong sw, or wrong format ringtones and then bring it back saying it has suddenly broken etc.

Reflash AVR, ARM & GDFS and the phone will work fine again.
