This become very usual these days. a very common thing.. lets find out why this is happening frequently these days... The main point is how these ID's got hacked.. most of us don't want to agree but the truth is in most cases ID's got hacked by users personal messengers or by clicking unknown links in mails on in this forum mistakenly.. even sometimes users gave away their own password to their beloved trustworthy persons!! and start crying here claiming his ID is hacked.... One thing we all should remember.. if its so easy to hack anyone's ID in VBB then why hackers will hack normal members ID.. why not admins/mods or senior member or any big traders of GSM. hackers can cheat a lot of peoples if they can hack their ID instead of ours.. There are no extra or different security/protection on user ID's on VBB and if anyone really capable of doing this i m sure he wont do it. coz he dont need to earn money this way So be careful everyone
Just keep in mind that your ID can be stolen only if u done anything from the above points i have written. So don't blame admins every time coz ur ID is hacked.. u can simply request... as they resolved a lot of smiler problems 100 times before and hope they will continue... Admins got no responsibility if we got our user names stolen for our own mistake... so users are requested to keep the above points in mind for their our benefits. Member: 2878 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9,123 | this is not 100% true! id can be hacked on other way´s too, but not on all forum board softwares... there are some hacks out there with cookie tricks... where you get (when successfull) the md5 hash. this hash can be cracked... and with the cracked password from hash, you can login to the member or admins id. if exploints run and what exploit run depens on witch forum software is used and how actual the software is. but i agree, most stolen password comes from ways witch softway descripted! |
