Member: 15312 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1576041 Thanks Meter: 1,093 | How to Search with precision - GUIDE !!! So letīs use as example, an user is looking for information about a Nokia 6610 not powering on. So as usual, user points to Search button on top menu of the forum and input "6610 no power on" Ok this is the most fast way, but not the best one. Look at the results: So what user should do is this, click on "SEARCH" and then on "ADVANCED SEARCH". Then enter the keywords that user wanna search for, and "Search Titles Only". And we will get a much more accurate results. This is the easier and better way to get good results, BUT if wanna even better results, then give more information about your search, for example, if the question is about Nokia 6610, try to look just inside the Nokia foruns. Can do this in the Advanced search as well. And some other good options are available to reduce user of wasting time and reading posts that doesnīt really interest to your search point. Hope this helps a bit more our users. PS: Later I might add some information about some more "search" options and functions. Thanks Last edited by Drug_Store; 11-03-2008 at 00:13. |

Member: 153675 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 20 | If I write into search window "not in charge" appear: The search term you specified ("not*in*charge") is under the minimum word length (2) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer. If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific. " is not accepted from the board? Thanks in advance. B.R. |
