Martech Analyzer Update - 31.07.2009

New functions added:

- Analyzer Print Client (APC) released.
This is special PC application which allow to print test directly from PC.
APC works with PB232 Analyzer, supporting printing test raports and summaries.

Currently supported two modes for printing :
- printing test from the function which analyze link resistance (this consist from
electrical resistance of link and its ionic resistance)
- printing test from regenerate / forming process

Other options:
- printing tests is improved
- special functions to add company name on print test header
- APC is available in English and Polish (more will come, if you havel
questions then feel free to contact technical support at [email protected]).

APC is available in English and Polish language.
We will add special module to induce Li-Jon batteries soon.

Firwmare Updater new version:
- corrected bug connected to unstable measurement on external temperature driver
- the range of initial charge and discharge current is increased
- regenerate function is amplified to PreForming and PostForming

Adapter XC1 for Martech Analyzer it's battery adapter for new released power supply/battery tester from Martech that allows you easy and fast connect any battery for performing regneration procvess, charge, test or discharge batetry. Adapter was created with coolaboration with Martech Team and are fully supported with PB243 device - using dedicated temperature control unit for measure battery temperature while process running to not allow overload and burn battery.

Specification:
- build in temperature control unit for Martech Anaylzer
- cage for battery are easly adjusted to match yoru batteries
- max size of battery tested (cage dimmension): 85mm x 85mm
- max height of battery tested (cage dimmension): 28mm

NOTE: Height as lenght of battery can be bigger that adapter area - int this situation it will be over workign area of adapter. This can happend while testign big batteries as camera unit etc.

Firmware v 00.04 has been supplemented with:

- amendments in energy governing PowerDown mode_
- amendments within Discharge Mode
- functions of evoking Lit battery chemistry (Review) in the area of Charging Mode
- Batteries of Lit chemistry are fitted with supervising links work electronics
- Those systems, among others protect the lin ks against their discharging
It is stated that allowed discharging threshold is 3V per one link-
- after exceeding this threshold, the battery electronics disconects the battery exit, which results as a zero voltage of such a battery
Some batteries have got electronics which limits the link possibilities which results strongly lowered initial voltage.
Such batteries are able to stillbe used, they sould only be stimulated in a proper way.

How do the stimulating links functions work?- Reviev in PB243: PB 243 Analyzer as a standard, after detecting too low amperage or lack
of battery, shows the following info:"Too Low Battery Voltage"
"Check Battery Connection"- in case of connecting battery with cramps in incorrect way

or " Discharging Error"Check Battery Settings"- in cas eof coonecting wrong battery type

In a lowe verse of alerts:
"Press Flash to Reviev..."
"Press Esc to exit mode..."
The same messages may appear if we have the battery demanding stimulation
At this point, if we are not sure of correct battery connection as well as correct settings, we press the upper button with a
charging icon (Flash)- and the process of stimulation will start, which is going to be confirmed with a message ""Reviving Process".

The reviving proces take splace until the battery voltage reaches the value of at least 3V/ link with an amperage between the range of 50...250mA.
The reviving process has been qdeveloped due to links security.
After reaching the voltage threshold, the analyzer will conduct the usual charging cycle with the parameters declared in Settings window.
Empirical research show that the whole reviving process is different and it depends on links condition, although it has never lasted longer than 12 minutes.

We advise against the battery reviving using" short connection" method, uncontrolled electricity results in ofen damages of battery chemistry.

Because we owe a limited amount of damaged batteries, we ask for opinions regarding analyzer functioning.

Martech Analyzer Update - 28.08.2009

New functions added:

New Firmware V 00.05 with following possibilites:
1. Added directly managing from PC (BatteryCharger mode) for application PB243_manager
2. Corrected service of cooling driver by using HOME functions (PowerSupply mode)
3. Added information about firmware veresion after first connecting
4. Fixed HOME functions - parameters reset

PB243 Analyzer Manager v1.0:
Battery Analyzer Manager – function description:
- Battery Analyzer Manager added easy database for individual details of batteries and cells
- Adding field works by typing into Battery Description field and choosing parameters
- Removing works by selecting desired field and clicking on „Remove Battery From Database” button
- Changing parameters and saving it is possible by clicking on „Approve Changes”

v1.0 is beta version, we are waiting for users feedbacks on [email protected]

New Firmware V 00.07 with following possibilites:

1. From this firmware it's possible to transmit measurement data directly to PC.
You can receive and watch it via PB234 Manager.

2. PB243 Manager version v11 with additional modules :

- Ubatt = f(t), battery voltage in time function (Charging, Discharging, Regeneration modes)
- Ibatt = f(t), battery current in time function (Charging, Discharging, Regeneration modes)
- Tbatt = f(t), battery temperature in time function (Charging, Discharging, Regeneration modes)

You can do zoom in on graphic diagram to see more detailed part of characteristic.
We will add more function like printing diagrams, saving it and opening from files.

Martech Analyzer Update - 23.09.2009

New functions added:

Martech Analyzer Manager V1.2 - new option for printing characteristics.

Graphic diagrams are placed on one common sheet. Scaling on sheet is prepared in
special way, it's optimized independently of size and direction.

The area of characetistic presentation is optimized also.

Next update will allow to save and read measurement data.

Analyzer Manager v13 is udpated for new possibilites:
- Reading registration data via AM
WIth this function you get check registration, serial number, hardware version and analyzer firmware
- Cleaning function for diagram windows
- Turning on/off measurement data in process of graphic analysis
- Saving data to file from charging, discharging, regenerate process
- Reading data from file
- Animated process of : charging, discharging, regenerate by using data from file

Since now you can analyse whole process in time function !
Animation function are selected in special way, you will see whole process saved before.

(earlier versions have blocked that possibility)
