Problem with A2618 keyboard


I have this problem with A2618 keyboard: the left key doesn't work ! All others are working. The plastic foil is ok, but no action when I press left key !

try change domen . and clean pcb with cleaner.
if domen damaged ,you need cut non worked key and put new. I used for this domen from ericsson T10/T18.

old trick i got it from old man ...... u know the alkain battrey aadestory it the black powder is the matrial which use in these press ....enjoy my friend

The keyboard of 2618 is easily damage
because the carbon contact type is easily pulvurize.

For longterm solution, u can use the keypad dome of
Nokia 3310. Tested by me.

how do we apply this "black powder" in the keys? do we need some adhesives? please elaborate cuz i certainly haven't tried this solution yet..

Just replace two units with 3310 keypad dome a month

Interrested by the "black powder" solution. How can aply it. I've ten of unit this keyb problem ( exactly 22 units) , and can't get enough 3310 domes.
Please explain more ( if it's not a joke !) this old trick.
