Member: 1677092 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | PolarSat not opening I know is drivers problem. (I guess the PolarSat, has to be able to 'see' the box with the right drivers,to allow register. ) I have tried with several different CLEAN (drivers) computers(just to be sure) with Windows 7 and also Windows Xp. I used first the drivers that come with the Installation package (the ones left on programdfiles/bb-box/ and both Hardware sets are ok (PolarBox FTDi 10/29/2010 2.8.2.0 & PolarBox Smart Card 5/9/2007 4.0.0.2 ) where are the RIGHT drivers? |

Member: 1677092 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | to fix the automatic close of Polar Sat to fix the automatic close of Polar Sat . remove DRIVERS of POLAR SMART CARD . 1- Device Manager, Polar, remove drivers on the Smart Card Item. (i also cliked the option to delete the driver-on win 7- ) 2- Press refresh or Scan for New manager (or connect or disconnect the box ). 3- On windows 7, when it shows the right bottom icon that is having problem installing the new hardware, select the option to DOWNLOAD drivers from automatic update (not the ones in the program files/bb-box folder) . 4- Done, should work now. please check the screenshoot, on how it should look like the device manager, NOTE: you shouldnt see the ITEM under POLAR named Smart Card ONLY the PolarBox FTDI Now smart card, is an independent item, with generic windows drivers. |
