Member: 1754237 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | oclHashcat with Linux system works better than Windows I found that linux is more steady and use less network bandwith when remote control(maybe ssh better than remote desktop?) And with Linux, only 512M Ram is enough to let hashcat run properly. With linux Bash, I managed to write my own Distributing workload scripts. The only weakness is that there is no GUI and need to be farmiliar with linux OS. There is another benefit that Linux can be install on USB stick. When you have many machines you can replace harddisk with USB stick which costs less and saves electricity fees. |
