Help!.. I can not restore Lumia 800 after formatting on the computer.

Lets agree there is a problem with fbus after updating to 9.11. i have unstalled all drivers tried on a new machine but fbus does not respond.NB my box is MODIFIED pcb. if you try to update ( firmware or restore) by ticking modified pcb,, it reverts back to normal pcb. USB flashing is ok.Pliz rectify this huge problem. Funny enough some boxes are fine...... am using XP sp3. ..aaaarrrggg.

Rewire your connections to use shorter wires and thinner 0.10 mm gauge for most
part of the wiring.

Too many CRC Failures means the connection is not stable and communication fails
9 out of 10 times for each sector.


My wiring suggestion is like this:

Original FBUS cable wires = maximum 1 inch Max
+
0.10 mm Gauge coated jumper wire = 4 inches Max

problem solved..
people need to restore box first before you update firmware... si**y me.
