Is ATF Box needed in this case? (QHSUSB_DLOAD on Lumia 620) - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I want to fix my Lumia 620, which does not vibrate nor show NOKIA logo on screen. It just shows QHSUSB_DLOAD on task manager.

This phone is broken when I tried recovery using Windows Phone Recovery Tool on Windows 10. I think current Windows 10 build have some USB bug as others who tried WPRT on it also bricked their phones.

I heard that ATF Box can fix Lumia bootloader via USB, without need for JTAG soldering.

Is ATF Box a right choice for me? If so, what other accessories are needed in this case?

Hi, for lumia 620 boot repair. You only need ATF box and USB cable.

That means normal USB cable to connect the box and my PC, right?

Do I need to buy ATF Nitro or normal bigger ATF box? ATF website says Nitro is the latest version, but what about Lightning? I don't know what's the difference here...

You need normal USB cable. + any type of atf box no problem abt variant

You're right... However, I asked how the repairing cost is and the cost was similar to the cost of an ATF Box. Thus, I decided to have ATF Box + working Lumia 620 rather than only Lumia 620 for same cost.

Is this also true for a Lumia 925 bricked in the exact same way (Tried to remove Windows 10 from my phone)?

If so, what exactly is the process? No tearing apart? No soldering?

Yeah. Lumia 925 also supported for USB Boot Repair. You need to select correct model and flash file in ATF software and flash phone in Dead USB Mode and Nokia Emergency Drivers must be installed in PC
