Member: 2145 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 36 | ![]() Hello First of all want to say thanks to X-Shadow and all ATF team for so Great research =) Concerning unlocking pb. There is no problem with old PC , PC OS, bad soldering, wrong tp or fw inside lumia. Probably i'm wrong , but i think that problems appear only with this Toshiba eMMC chip. = Storage Device Information Manufacturer ID: 11 Application ID : 0100 Product Name : 016G4B Product Rev : 00 = You can find more info about this pb here http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f609...ml#post8769409 http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f609...5/#post8769319 http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f609...oblem-1537145/ http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f609...nlock-1540442/ One of mentioned links contain solution for unlock in way to combine atf tp with other product, at least as temporarily solution for unlockers. Also I have played with Lumia with HYNIX chip on board (Manufacturer ID: 90 Application ID : 014A) and all went fine. Boot repair and unlocking too. But I want to warn users do not use Boot repair with MBR rewrite ticked if it is not necessary for eMMC Manufacturer ID: 11 Application ID : 0100 Product Name : 016G4B Product Rev : 00 Cause at end with high probability you will have dead phone in hands. Maybe I'm wrong ( and it would be good if so ), but by my opinion MBR areas contain different data for HYNIX and Toshiba chips. RGDS VIK |

WOW... You really hit the bull's eye with your post! TOSHIBA eMMC Chips is BLOCKED by ATF BOX because I assumed that TOSHIBA eMMC is only for 610 and 610C phones. Everytime ATF BOX "sees" a TOSHIBA Manufacturer ID: 11, it will disable proper eMMC dump so that end users will NOT BE TEMPTED to try and unlock 610 phones. You will NOT have "dead" phones in hand though, because only eMMC READ is disabled. eMMC Write is working like it is for the rest of the Manufacturer IDs. I REALLY appreciate your post and admire the fact that you helped me solve this problem among other end users. I will put up a "quick software update" to bypass ATF BOX rejection of this eMMC. BEST REGARDS! X-Shadow

Member: 651945 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 20,117 | Your problem is related to your soldering. Other people who I sent PM about the 9.12 TOSHIBA fix already confirmed that their phones were already unlocked by 9.12. You should also expect the same fate for you phone. Check properly the GREEN and BLUE TP resistors. Make sure you soldered in the correct side. If phone does not power ON, then try to remove you TP connections first... Then : 1. Press power button for 12 seconds 2. Release power button for 3 seconds 3. Press power button for 2 seconds or until you feel a short 200 ms vibration |

The problem is the resistor at blue tp, If it is broken or desold the set with Toshiba chip ,will not connect, and also ll not turn on. Today i faced same problem, and after properly soldring this resistor the set unlocked and working. If this resistor is broken in lumia with chip other than Toshiba, the set is unlocked and also working fine. Wr KHAWAR
