nokia 106 spi problem 1 Attachment(s) Greetings I have a working but little bit water damaged nokia 106 The phone is working, but the alarm not making any sound so i decided to rewrite phone fw. On fbus this is not possible becouse of big langpack size (about 6-7 lang inside) So i want to try over spi, but the phone not connect, i try via direct soldering and also multi-com SPI adapter also not sees the SPI chip. The manufacturer: winbond. Is it possible that this spi chip damages somehow and interface not working any more (due to water damage i think)or are there any other trick to make it working? many thanx for answer.. |
You have BIG ATF or nitroATF ? I got only problem with SPI with BIG ATF on nitroATF all work without problem. |
yes i have :( so no solution? only by nitro? |
please supporters, clarify this. Is it realy not working on ATF big chrome box? |
@dazexy It works on ALL Kinds of ATF BOXES ATF BIG Normal PCB ATF BIG Modified PCB ATF Lightning ATF Nitro See here it is connected to my ATF BIG BOX http://174.120.45.27/tmp/ATF_SPI_CONNECTED.jpg http://174.120.45.27/tmp/ATF_BIG_SPI.jpg PINOUT USED for Dolphin Clip: http://174.120.45.27/tmp/SPI_PINOUT.jpg If you get connection problems, try this: 1. Make sure your pinout is 100001% correct 2. Disconnect ATF Box from USB Port 3. Reconnect ATF Box to USB Port 4. Click "Scan SPI" Repeat 1 to 4 is better than just repeat clicking "Scan SPI" This is because sometimes SPI chip is not initialized properly, |
i followed you instructions, but no success, but i think my soldering is good and wires are thin and short, because when i connect the (flashbus port) i get this: Manufacturer ID: 0xEF Winbond Device ID : 0x6017 Flash Capacity : 8388608 Bytes Flash 64K Blocks: 128 Blocks Unique ID : Status Register : 0x00 Resetting ATF Box... Clocks Sent... Searching for an SPI Device... SPI Device Not Found! Try to Reconnect ATF Box USB Cable or Try to Change VCCIO Setting or Check your SPI Connections but is extension port there is no any lifesign. Can i test somehow that my extension port is working right? I think my extension port is not working good. Many thanx for helping.. ps. i know that it will work only in extension port. |
seems finally solved... but please check my dump is correct or damaged. Many thanx: https://www.dropbox.com/s/75vr3lnd6m..._FULL.zip?dl=0 dazexy |
@dazexy Hi, It only works on the "FLASHBUS" port, as you can see in my pictures in post #5. It will NOT WORK on "EXTENSION" port at all. Your "Dropbox" Link is giving me 404... But I believe you can always dump the SPI 2 or 3 times to make sure it is really a 100% OK dump. Thanks again for sharing that Infineon 105 Flash File before. I still don't forget your BIG Help to Infineon SPI FBUS Flashing. |
