Cpu reball tips needed - Where are the pros?

Been attempting this for a while on iCloud locked iPhone 6 devices. Want to master this model before moving to newer models.

What’s most important step, removing or cleaning to prevent killing with too much heat? What temps best for both jobs?

Does the pry tool matter when removing?

Should heating to remove be slow and long or fast and quick?

Any other tips to keep in mind? Thanks
