iphone 4 front camera not working HELP!!!


Hi i have 2 iphone 4 that the front camera not working tried all the solutions on the forum and there is no water damage to them
And i have check all the volts that Mr Wites had put on his solutions page and all check ok
Is there anything else i can try?

Did you try to restore or other camera,did you try to jumper filters as in picture?

Thanks for you reply Wites Yes i have checked all the filters and they all beep with tester and done a restore with new camera were the volts say 2.85v on your picture mine say 2.86v

Friend a filter can beep on my multimeter up to 33ohm check each if it have not more than 00.6ohm if show more than replace or jump,8 leg filter i jump always i not trust to this components.

- unplug the front camera and check all voltages direct at the connector when you have camera-app open!
- check L8 for bad solderings / shorts
- try another camera (that you be 101% sure that it works)

remember: You have to kill the camera.app in the task-list and completely restart the phone before you try again!!!

Right i have checked all with multimeter and all reading 00.0ohm even jumped the 8 leg filter and checked the voltages at connector all voltages are there ok and tried 3 new camera on it but still the same shutter wont open?

Ok now check all pins of front camera connector to gnd see if all show resistance,it is right to switch multimeter at diodes testing and hold red probe to gnd with black chk each pin ignore gnd pins,post result.
This is to see if some line is not broken.

look like i may have a problem with L8, also capacitors c40 & c42. Can i take those capacitors off? Do i need to jump them? What to do about L8?
